Following our recent participation in Art Rotterdam 2026, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the organizers for their thoughtful and professional arrangement.
This marked the very first presentation of Bug 2 Gallery at Art Rotterdam, and it has been a truly rewarding experience. We are especially grateful to have met so many collectors, curators, and visitors who showed genuine interest in the artists and works we brought.
Our presentation, Reshaping Tradition, reflects our ongoing commitment to exploring how contemporary artists reinterpret and transform cultural and artistic legacies across different contexts.
We are also pleased to share that our presentation received media coverage, further strengthening the international visibility of both the gallery and the artists:

The article highlighted Bug 2 Gallery as the first gallery from Taiwan to participate in the fair, and introduced the unique dialogue between artists Pascal van der Graaf and Yuma Taru. It also noted Yuma Taru’s significant position within Taiwan’s cultural landscape, describing her as a “living treasure” and emphasizing the recognition of her textile practice.
Founded in Taiwan, Bug 2 Gallery is dedicated to fostering dialogue between Eastern and Western perspectives in contemporary art. Working closely with a focused group of mid-career artists, the gallery emphasizes works that embody clarity of vision, material sensitivity, and a strong conceptual foundation.

Pascal van der Graaf presents a distinctive approach to abstraction through folded and shaped canvases. Influenced by both Western abstract traditions and Eastern philosophical practices, his works explore the relationship between structure, perception, and inner energy.

Yuma Taru, recognized as a preserver of traditional weaving practices in Taiwan, reinterprets textile knowledge through a contemporary lens. Her work extends beyond craft, engaging with time, memory, and the transmission of cultural systems.

We sincerely appreciate your interest and support, and we are grateful for the many conversations that took place during the fair.
Works by Pascal van der Graaf will remain in the Netherlands for a limited time. Should you wish to revisit or inquire further, we would be happy to assist.
As Yuma Taru will return to Taiwan on April 3, we warmly invite any further inquiries in the coming days.
If you would like to receive a full list of available works or further information, please feel free to reply to this email.
We look forward to staying in touch.
