Bug 2 Gallery is pleased to participate in ART TAICHUNG 2026, presenting works by Rob Bouwman, Suzan Drummen, Lieven Hendriks, Mari Stoel, and Pascal van der Graaf at Booth F11.

This presentation brings together five Dutch artists whose practices explore perception, materiality, light, and structure. Through painting and object-based approaches, their works open up subtle dialogues between order and freedom, surface and depth, reality and illusion.

Rob Bouwman’s works are composed of rich, densely layered lines of color, creating a visual rhythm that carries traces of time, movement, and bodily presence. Suzan Drummen transforms geometric structures and reflective materials into dazzling sensory fields, where ornament, rhythm, and light unfold in kaleidoscopic patterns.

Lieven Hendriks, with his precise painterly technique, blurs the boundary between object, image, and painting itself, inviting viewers to reconsider the relationship between seeing and believing. Mari Stoel’s paintings capture shifting impressions of landscape, memory, and atmosphere through fluid and poetic brushwork.

Pascal van der Graaf continues his recent exploration of shaped canvases and folded structures, expanding painting beyond the flat surface into a space between object, architecture, and spirituality.
